Financial Assistiance

Of all Canadian universities, Queen's consistently ranks among the top for the percentage of its total budget spent on student assistance. Our goal at Queen's is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to attend our University, regardless of their personal financial circumstances.

Student Assistance at Queen's

Student financial assistance is offered through both merit-based (scholarship) and need-based (non-repayable awards, bursaries, work-study) funding, and comes in a variety of forms:

All Scholarships and Bursaries are administered by the Student Awards section of the Office of the University Registrar. This Office also administers a number of other plans such as the Work Study Program, the Ontario Special Bursary program, Special Needs Bursaries, and Government student assistance plans, such as the Ontario Student Assistance Program.
